About The Role
You will play a crucial role in becoming an expert on our products and enabling others to do the same. You will be the go-to authority on operational best practices, implementation guidance, and solution architecture, drawing upon your extensive engineering experience.
This role is highly collaborative, working across product development, engineering, sales engineering, and customer success teams. You will thrive on feedback and requests from the field, devising innovative solutions to real-world challenges and documenting and presenting these solutions to facilitate learning both internally for employees and externally for our users.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and lead multi-day instructor-led training (ILT) sessions for diverse customer sizes.
Develop hands-on lab exercises and interactive experiences to build confidence in products.
Design certification questions and answers to support Certified Experts.
Create comprehensive guides and best practice documents for using products in production environments.
Curate educational resources from staff and the broader open-source community.
Craft step-by-step guides tailored to specific industry or customer use cases.
Adapt or create code samples compatible with multiple cloud providers and diverse workloads.
Implement automations to enhance ILT and certification offerings.
Collaborate closely with education engineers, sales engineers, product management, and solution architects to understand customer needs and document effective solutions.
About You
Strong passion for continuous learning and teaching efficiency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for success in this role.
Previous exposure to any product is beneficial (production experience not required).
8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as technical trainer, sales engineer, technical account manager, customer success engineer, enterprise architect, software engineer, DevOps engineer, or similar.
Proficiency (4+ years) in programming languages like JAVA/Go/Python/NodeJS.
Expertise (4+ years) in cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes.
Experience (4+ years) with public cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP.
Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Open Telemetry, DataDog, or AppDynamics.
Preferred Experience In Managing Cloud Infrastructure In Production Environments.
Knowledge of audio/video tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Screenflow, Camtasia) is advantageous but not required.
Background in graphic design or visual explanations is a plus.
Experience delivering curriculum, exams, and certifications via training partners is preferred.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Instruqt is a bonus.
