We are conducting a retained search for a President and CEO of a $6 Billion Indiana based bank preparing for the next phase of growth. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone to come and build upon the bank’s successes to date and build a strong diversified community bank. This bank is looking for an experience President and CEO that can anticipate future trends, communicate a compelling and inspired vision, and lead the bank in making that vision a reality.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the President and Chief Executive Officer will direct and oversee all strategic, credit, financial, and operational activities of the organization including analyzing effects of long-term growth initiatives, developing, and implementing the organization’s operational and fiscal function and performance. - Interact regularly with the Board of Directors to formulate, implement, monitor, and report the bank’s strategic results, and policies.
- Oversee and maintain the framework and processes to develop and communicate the bank’s long-term strategic direction.
- Leading the bank’s strategy setting and related activities that advance the Bank’s strategic objectives.
- Representing the Bank both internally and externally, developing and maintaining relationships with major clients and regulators, and with the Senior Executive Team comprised of the Bank’s most senior executives, supporting a positive profile for the Bank.
- Building a sound infrastructure to achieve a strategic balance of risk and return.
- Establishing and maintaining a framework and processes to assess the impact of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions for the Bank.
- Oversee the effectiveness of the Bank’s financial structure and monitoring and advising the Chairman on the Bank’s present and future capital requirements.
- Work closely with the Chief Risk Officer to oversee the proactive identification, management, and mitigation of the various risks of the Bank, both current and emerging, all in a manner consistent with Bank objectives.
- Ensure that the Bank is positioned to evolve as an integrated, customer-focused financial institution in alignment with the Bank’s stated business strategies.
- Coordinate the Senior Executive Team to meet on a regular basis to discuss matters relating to the overall strategic management of the Bank.
- Establish accountability with regard to satisfactorily meeting approved plans
- Oversees and supports the ongoing development of a diverse, capable, engaged workforce, and an extraordinary workplace that provides the capacity and capability to execute against its business strategy.
- Required to maintain the strictness of confidentiality in all matters.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the OCC.
- Oversees all required regulatory reporting to assure bank compliance.
- A financially sound, future focused, community bank preparing for the next phase of growth

- The corporate headquarters are located in Carmel, IN rated as the second best place to live in the U.S.
- Minimum of 15 years of community bank management experience with broad banking exposure
- Minimum of five years in a President/CEO role in a community bank
- Experience developing and/or overseeing a community bank with asset size exceeding $3 - 5 billion
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business administration
