Leapstart is expanding its horizons with an upcoming half-day preschool program at two of our Cupertino locations. We're in search of a visionary Preschool Director who not only cherishes early childhood education but is also adept at sculpting successful preschool programs from the ground up.
Your Leadership Role:
Curriculum Crafting: Develop a preschool curriculum rooted in the latest child development research and best practices
Team Building: Hire, mentor, and lead a team of passionate preschool educators
Communication Hub: Be the go-to person for all preschool matters, liaising with families, staff, and community partners
Strategic Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our administrative team, ensuring our preschool vision aligns with the school's broader goals
Accreditation & Licensure: Manage all documentation to achieve preschool program accreditation
Financial Oversight: Handle budgeting and financial aspects of the preschool program
Marketing & Outreach: Champion our preschool program, drawing families and the community closer
Trend Tracking: Stay updated with the latest in preschool education, ensuring our program remains top-tier
Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and refine our program, always aiming for excellence
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or related
5+ years as a preschool director/administrator
Leadership prowess and impeccable communication skills
Mastery in organization and time management
A collaborative spirit, able to work with diverse stakeholders
Deep knowledge of child development and early childhood best practices
Tech-savvy with strong computer skills
Valid California Director Permit (or willingness to obtain)
Flexibility in working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
Necessary clearances and health checks, including fingerprinting and vaccinations
