We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The Prep Cook will assist our chefs in preparing ingredients, chopping vegetables, and ensuring food items are ready for cooking. **Key Responsibilities:**
Prepare and portion ingredients as directed by the head chef.
Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits.
Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
Follow recipes accurately to maintain consistency in food quality.
Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and sanitized.
Assist in stocking and organizing the kitchen inventory.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
**Requirements:**

Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role preferred.

**Physical Requirements:**
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Lift and carry heavy pots, pans, and trays.
Work in a hot and noisy kitchen environment.
**Education:**
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
**Certification:**
Food handler's permit or certification is a plus.
