Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Administrator to join our team. As a Practice Administrator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fiscal management, human resources, and regulatory compliance. This position will report directly to the Physicians Board and lead a team of management and practice team members, with indirect oversight of a total team of approximately 42 FTE.


Responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Direct oversight of daily practice operations and supervision of department heads.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies, practice protocols and procedures.

• Work closely with the physicians to optimize practice operations

• Provide sound financial management, including providing input for the development of budgetary and financial goals.

• Oversee administrative functions including payroll, employee onboarding, training, and discipline as needed. 

• Strategic planning and support for short and long term goals, business development, and continued success.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, inclusion, dignity and respect. 


Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must have strong planning, budgeting and fiscal management abilities. Requires proven leadership with the ability to organize, coordinate and motivate physicians and staff. 

• Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare related field preferred; Master's degree is a plus.

• 5+ years proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting. Ophthalmology experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of fiscal management principles and practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively

• Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements

Compensation will be commensurate with experience including competitive base salary, bonus opportunity, and competitive benefits package.
