Role Overview: As a Plastic Fabricator, you will be responsible for the precise cutting, bending, and welding of materials such as PVC, Polypropylene, PVDF, and Teflon. This position is based in a vibrant, well-equipped workshop where your contributions will directly impact our product quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble various plastic components by cutting, welding, and bending.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Collaborate closely with design engineers to translate concepts into functional products.
Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Problem-solve and troubleshoot as needed to meet project specifications.
Qualifications
Requirements:
A High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a solid background in welding PVC, polypropylene, and Teflon.
Proficiency in hot air welding techniques.
A robust mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and execute blueprints in collaboration with design engineers.
Hands-on experience with various tools such as drills, routers, tape measures, and table saws.
Willingness to travel domestically on occasion.
Additional Skills Appreciated
Experience in cabinet making or carpentry will be considered an asset but the other requirements must still be met.
