Plant Manager
Job Description
We are hiring a Plant Manager for our client in Quincy, IL. As a Plant Manager, you will lead day-to-day operations by overseeing production and engaging with the floor-level team to produce results. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Essential Functions
Inspire and maintain a safety-first culture for all plant personnel
Drive a site felt safe, quality always, and a high-performance team
Lead, engage, and manage team using a servant leader mindset
Lead workforce planning and capital project execution
Actively manage the P&L, budget forecast, and financial stability of the site
Strategically plan and problem-solve leveraging Operator experience
Communicate internal and external metrics and seek out resources as needed
Develop and maintain KPIs to monitor plant performance
Develop and execute lean and flexible production systems based on lean manufacturing principles
Manage labor agreements, negotiations, and reconciliations
Qualifications
Perform other tasks as required
Required Education And Experience
Associate or Bachelor's degree
5+ years of relative management experience
P&L experience
General Requirements
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated strong leadership skills
Proficient with MS Office Software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent problem-solving skills
Preferred Requirements
Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering degree
Lean Six-Sigma Belt
Proven CAPEX project management
Union experience
