Main Functions: The Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant production and manufacturing at three sites, ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Lead a focused and effective safety culture. Establish processes that increase product quality and ensure customer on time delivery. Develop the skills and capabilities of the plant staff and employees, while holding them accountable for their results. Be a leader of change and challenge the status quo. Develop processes that maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity. The plant manager works directly with department heads to coordinate purchasing, distribution, engineering, sales, finance, and human resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve safety culture. Achieve Verzatec Safety program
Plan, organize, and lead optimum day-to-day plant operations exceeding customers’ expectations
Manages a production team that creates products that meet established quality standards
Responsible for plant Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Create culture of accountability
Develop the skills and capabilities of the plant staff and employees
Implement strategies in alignment with Verzatec strategic initiatives
Provide a clear sense of direction and focus
Aligning with sales forecasts, develop efficient strategies to ensure the plant meets production goals and standards at minimal manufacturing costs
Drive continuous improvement culture. Eliminating wastes throughout the operations
Develops and implements specific plant policies and procedures.
Analyze production operations and initiate corrective actions to ensure quality and efficient production flow
Ensure proper staffing of the plant to meet production levels and goals
Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and increase quality standards
Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity, standards, metrics, and performance targets
Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
Assist in new product development process
All other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements
Proven track record of developing and leading a safe work culture while managing multiple functions within a plant environment
Experience in leading an ISO-9001 operations culture or simliar
Proven strong leadership, team building, decision-making and people management skills
Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
Demonstrated proficiency to manage multiple tasks, to set priorities and to meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to effectively managing and in developing employees
Proven work experience as a plant manager (safety, quality, production/assembly, maintenance, environmental compliance)
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), well organized, able to process large amounts of complex information
Able to motivate, coach and develop people in alignment with Verzatec’s Vision and Values
Effective troubleshooting and decision-making skills
