Who You Are:

You are responsible for leading a team supporting the distribution center operations with forecasting, reporting, and workflow analytics across wholesale, e-commerce, and retail businesses throughout North America for Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo. You will oversee planning, reporting, and analytics to enhance operational planning, cross-functional alignment, KPIs, transparency, service improvement, cost reduction, and progress tracking. In addition, you will be able to help and report on staffing decisions, aligned with capacity planning inputs and operational flow. Additional innovation responsibilities encompass developing reports, including metrics, dashboards, and other tools to drive decision-making. • Establish operational and cross-functional partnerships to strengthen business and strategic project initiatives. Analyze system, operational data, and flow to proactively identify solutions and improvement opportunities and provide recommendations.
  • Analyze and assist in the business planning process from a financial perspective for operations: budgeting, target setting, reviewing KPI’s, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Information Technology team to address system issues and document business technical requirements for identified process improvements.
  • Manage the extraction and analytics of large data sets to proactively identify improvement opportunities and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
  • Manage a team that will support distribution operations and support teams with end-user training sessions and workshops on any visualizations and reporting.
  • Develop comprehensive labor plans and scenarios in collaboration with finance, facilities, human resources, and operation teams.
  • Field operation requests: develop technical requirements, and/or write SQL to produce a desired report/metric/dashboard in MicroStrategy.
  • Anticipate and address operational and strategic requirements proactively, while innovatively improving and creating new metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to empower effective decision-making.
  • Establish strong working relationships across all levels to ensure comprehensive project satisfaction and to effectively manage expectations related to functionality and deliverables.

You’ll need to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Infosystems or related disciplines
  • 4-6 years of experience developing business and/or technology solutions and managing multiple technical consulting projects
  • An understanding of Manhattan WMS solutions (PKMS/WMi preferred).

  • Strong quantitative and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think pragmatically and drive execution of concepts.
