Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and materials required for piping systems.
Cut, thread, and weld pipes using hand and power tools, ensuring accurate measurements and alignments.
Assemble and install pipes and pipe fittings such as valves, elbows, and couplings according to project requirements.
Test piping systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning before final installation.
Collaborate with other construction professionals such as plumbers, welders, and HVAC technicians to complete projects on time and to quality standards.
Follow safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a pipefitter or similar role in the construction industry.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Knowledge of pipefitting techniques and methods, including cutting, threading, and welding pipes.
Familiarity with different types of piping materials such as steel, copper, and PVC.
Reliable Transportation.

Pay:$28 to $32 per hour DOE
