DSA is seeking a highly qualified PI Engineer to join our team remotely.

Required Qualifications

  • US residency
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Similar
  • 3+ years of work experience in a technical role
  • 2+ years of experience working with the AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System
  • Self-starter with an ability to multi-task and effectively work on a large number of projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written proficiency in the English language
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to pass background checks

Desired Qualifications

  • OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System Accreditation
  • Experience and interest in PI System integration work
  • Experience working with or integrating with Building Automation Systems (Client), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
  • General understanding of Central Plant Systems, Facility Management, and Energy Management
  • Experience with Predictive Modeling, energy management, and advanced analytics is a plus
  • The candidate will work remotely but strongly prefers candidates physically located in the greater Seattle area

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in designing and implementing projects that provide situational awareness and operational intelligence based on the OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System
  • Regularly interface with building automation systems (Client), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other 3rd party systems.
  • Use analytics packages (Python, R, etc.,.) to design and deploy algorithms that identify improvement opportunities and non-standard asset and system operations.
