Job Description

Aspire365 is seeking Peer Support / Life Coaches to work as part of our multidisciplinary team. This is a contracted part-time position where services are delivered to the client through in-home and telemedicine visits. If you are a caring, dedicated professional who possesses strong communication skills and a true desire to help others, this is the position for you!

Aspire365 has a specific mission—to deliver the highest quality evidence-based care to anyone suffering with a substance use disorder. This is accomplished by changing the way treatment is delivered. An intensive evidence-based chronic program to treat a chronic illness.

In this role, you will interact with clients and families, referral sources, field staff, and members of the local medical community. By providing evidence-based approaches and working side by side with each member of the Recovery Support Team, your engagement with clients and community partners will provide valuable resources and support. This essential role, and the valuable work you provide, will allow clients to receive effective care and help them develop the necessary skills to create a life of independence and sobriety.

Responsibilities for Peer Support / Life Coach include, but not limited to:

  • Utilize skills developed through certification to help client through the recovery process
  • Responsible for scheduling own appointments with the client according to client’s schedule
  • Engage and participate with client in replacement activities
  • Work with the client to complete treatment goals and tasks set by the Addiction Psychiatrist, Nurse and Therapist
  • Communicate to the Recovery Team and Program Coordinator any non-compliance, behavior changes, issues or incidents either witnessed or communicated
  • Help clients build trust, as well as, open and honest communication, share life experiences of recovery
  • Takes client to group meetings (When applicable)
  • Provide client with support via phone or text on days there is not a face-to-face contact
  • Complete any documentation required by Aspire365 or the Recovery Support Team

Qualifications

  • HIPAA Compliance
  • Knowledge of State professional and ethical guidelines
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, motivate clients and resolve problems
  • Minimum of 10 hours available per month
  • Evening and Weekend Availability
  • Meet with client in the client’s home throughout the 12-month program
  • Remote Meeting Proficiency

Job Type: Contracted Part-Time

Experience: Peer Support Experience: 6 months - 1 year (Preferred)

Education & Credentials

  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
  • Complete Recovery Coach Trainings
  • Maintain state requirements
  • Currently maintaining sobriety (minimum of 1 year)

License: None
