Introduction:

Kaizen Labs is looking for an experienced Partnerships Manager to join our team in New York City. This role requires a proactive and dedicated individual who will work closely with our business operations team to identify and cultivate high-priority partnership opportunities across local, county, and state associations and agencies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving partnership execution, building trusted relationships, and aligning partnership strategies with our go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

Location & Travel

  • This is a hybrid role based out of our New York City HQ. The candidate must reside in New York or be able to commute to New York City to work out of our office up to 3x a week.
  • Travel for events is anticipated to be a 10-20% commitment. The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel as necessary to meet with partners and attend events.

Role

  • Work closely with the business operations team to identify high-priority partnership opportunities across local, county, and state associations / agencies for tradeshows, sponsorships, events, and webinars
  • Thoughtfully conduct outreach to external stakeholders, effectively communicate Kaizen’s value proposition, serve as a day-to-day point of contact to drive partnership execution, and build trusted relationships
  • Develop a partnership roadmap that aligns with broader GTM strategy, product roadmap, and product expansion efforts
  • Research, execute, and iterate channel partnership strategy
  • Brainstorm, coordinate, and budget for self-generated events, conferences, and webinars
  • Collaborate closely with our operations, marketing, product, and design team to create joint marketing campaigns and collateral to be used for brand awareness opportunities
  • Coordinate attendance, calendars, and event logistics alongside business development team
  • Establish partner governance practices including performance tracking, policies, and contract management
  • Maintain engagement with partners through proactive communications
  • Regularly update and maintain our sales CRM

Skills & Requirements

  • Successful track record in a prior technology partnerships role or account management role
  • 4+ years of experience, preferably in a B2G / B2C technology and SaaS startups
  • Experience or familiarity with SLED sales processes
  • Proficiency with tools like Salesforce, Hubspot, and calendar management software
