AvantGuard Monitoring Centers is one of the largest and fastest growing monitoring companies in the nation. We monitor alarms (security, fire, medical, environmental) all across the nation, and since we are growing over 200,000 accounts per year, we are looking to add a talented Recruiter to our innovative People team.

In this role you will own the recruiting process at AvantGuard for entry level roles while working closely with our People team to ensure candidates have an A+ experience from application to onboarding with us. You will recruit and source top talent that represents our core values that include: Caring, Fun, Innovation, Relationships, Service, Trust and Teamwork. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, creative, and an excellent multi-tasker to help us make hiring at AvantGuard the best in the industry! This position is a part time role.

What You’ll Do

  • Run the recruiting cycle for the operations team which includes Alarm Customer Service Operators
  • Help maintain campus recruiting through career fairs and table events
  • Build relationships company-wide with team members to help source referrals
  • Provide an excellent candidate experience through expert organization and communication
  • Evaluate resumes and candidates utilizing interactive phone screens
  • Schedule and interview candidates face to face through a multi-level interview process
  • Maintain records or phone screens, schedules, interviews etc. of potential candidates
  • Work in our ATS system (ClearCompany) and make sure all candidates are up-to-date
  • Report metrics to leadership and work with the team to continually improve processes
  • Suggest and implement on-going improvements to the recruiting process

Skills Needed

  • Ability to adapt & work under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to provide the best candidate experience to people through the interview and hiring process through excellent customer service, organization, and communication
  • Completed or currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Human Resources or a related field strongly preferred
  • Passion and willingness to learn and grow in the recruiting and HR functions
  • Strong internal drive to provide excellent work and an excellent candidate experience
