TITLE: Outdoor Adventure / Ropes Course & Group Facilitator
Duties/Responsibilities
Develop, prepare, and implement experiential education programs; assist in the implementation of substance misuse prevention programs; conduct evaluations; facilitate low and high ropes courses; perform maintenance tasks on equipment and ropes course elements; ability to work as a team. Includes interactions with various agency and school personnel, families, youth, and adults. Other duties include preparing and organizing program reports, notes, and files.
Part-time, flexible schedule preferred, involves some weekend work.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have love of outdoors and enjoy working with children and adults. Ideal candidates would be pursuing a degree in recreation, human services, education, or related field (but not required); experience in outdoor adventure (ropes course/Alpine Tower) and experiential education beneficial, training provided; CPR and First Aid certification will be required, training provided.
