Oracle Solution Architect

Seeking Oracle EPM Architect with experience using multiple applications. Must have 7-10+ years of Oracle cloud experience. Full Life Cycle implementation of Consolidation, Planning or Management reporting application products. Experience to support the requirements, design, build, and testing of EPM. Knowledge of Oracle Financial Reporting. Strong experience in Accounting, Finance or management reporting.

Responsibilities

· Provides senior expertise or leads the Oracle Cloud implementation effort at clients

· Coordinates activities to support clients through full life cycle implementations including contributing to design effort through development, training, go live and managed services.

· Advising on technical designs and development best practices as the lead for the application and reporting components of the project.

· Employ financial, consolidations, management reporting knowledge and past experiences to architect and develop optimal solutions incorporating best practices.

· Knowledge of complex business rules using Calculation Manager.

· Prepare and review key deliverables such as requirement documents, design documents, development inventory, test documentation, training materials and administration/procedural guides.

· Provide Project Management on large to medium size projects.

· Gather business requirements and turn into practical reporting solutions.

· Build effective and sustainable client relationships.

· Deliver assigned projects/subprojects on time and on budget.

Minimum Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree

· At least 3-5+ years of experience working hands-on with FCCS, Planning or other Oracle Cloud applications.

· At least 5+ years of experience with full life cycle implementations including contributing to requirements, design, development, training, go live and managed services.

· Advanced analytical, diagnostic, and technical skills

· Understanding of corporate month end close and consolidation process and/or planning or forecast management reporting requirements.

· Application design experience

· Experience in developing complex business rules

· Experience developing Complex Financial Reports / Dashboards

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work with minimal supervision.

· Knowledge and experience with multiple products in the Oracle Cloud product family (FCCS, Planning, ARCS, EDMCS.)

Preferred Skills

· Certified Professional for Oracle Cloud Products

· Implementation knowledge of Cash Flow

· Understanding of Complex Accounting Principles such as NCI, Ownership development, Equity pick up etc.

· Understanding of People Planning, Revenue Planning, Capital Planning solutions

· Good working knowledge of data collection tools such as ODI, Data Management, and/or FDMEE

· Previous accounting / finance experience

Location & Logistics

The position is to be located in the US. This position will require travel, which will vary based on project needs and phases, but should average out to approximately 25% - 50% (depending on role)
