Job Description
The Training Specialist will primarily be responsible for delivering comprehensive on-the-job training sessions to clients, both in-office and through remote platforms. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively convey new processes and behaviors to diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adept at time management, and possess strong public speaking abilities.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver on-the-job training in various office settings and remote learning platforms.
Develop and conduct technical training programs.
Facilitate presentations and webinars.
Deploy training initiatives to targeted personnel.
Assess training needs and certification requirements.
Create and organize training materials and classroom agendas.
Provide end-user training and summarize site training sessions.
Assist in designing instructor materials, including course outlines, background materials, and training aids.
Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
Mentor other instructors on subject matter and course delivery techniques.
Collaborate on creating training materials and initiatives.
Test and review training materials.
Maintain a comprehensive database of all training resources.
Requirements And Qualifications
Ability to travel up to 80% out-of-state.
Bachelor's degree in education, business, human resources, information technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience of two (2) or more years as a trainer or in a similar role may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.
Certification from relevant training associations is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and instructional software.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with instructional learning technologies and best practices.
