We have a full-time OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN opportunity for an experienced medical assistant, certified MA, certified nursing assistant, optometric technician, optician, or ophthalmic technician. This is a TEAM role that will need your patience, high levels of communication and integrity
Our OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIANS work to assist our doctors and our patients through prescreen testing, exam preparation and patience, positivity, and productivity.

A Successful Candidate For OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN Has The Following
A high school diploma, (some college is excellent!)
A committed work history that shows longevity and growth
Experience in a fast-paced healthcare or medical office environment- specifically ophthalmic or optometric care. Other disciplines may be considered.
Proven ability to establish effective working relationships with patients, technicians, physicians, and outside departmental staff
Familiarly with computer software and the ability to learn new systems quickly (Electronic health record experience preferred)
Able to remain focused and organized
Able to stand with mobility for extended periods of time
Considerable knowledge in Ophthalmology theory and practice preferred
COA and/or COT certified - a HUGE plus
The ability to work at different work locations during the day on occasion- clean DMV and/or transportation required.
Ability to obtain references AND a sufficient background check report
