Machine Shop Operations Manager Requirements
A Bachelor's in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with progressive experience in a machine shop or automotive repair shop
Experience in a customer/client-facing role
Experience managing teams from multiple departments with multiple projects simultaneously
Machine Shop Operations Manager Responsibilities
Set operational goals and objectives to drive operations and complete customer orders by the deadline
Implement effective and sustainable best-in-class manufacturing processes
Develops capacity models, and optimizes scheduling and setup. Identifies gaps and develops plans to address
Develops plans for optimal use of materials, machines, and members
