Kforce has a client in Leawood, KS that is looking for a highly skilled Network Architect to play a key role in their cloud migration journey to Microsoft Azure. As a Network Architect, you will leverage your expertise in network design, security, and disaster recovery to design, implement, and manage our secure and scalable Azure network environment. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive disaster recovery strategy to ensure business continuity in the event of an outage. Responsibilities:
Design, architect, and implement secure and scalable Azure Virtual Networks (VNETs)
Configure network security groups (NSGs) to enforce network access control
Design and implement Azure traffic routing solutions, such as Azure Route Table and Azure Load Balancer
Integrate on-premises network infrastructure with Azure using Azure ExpressRoute or VPN Gateway
Migrate existing network workloads to Azure
Develop and implement a comprehensive disaster recovery strategy for the Azure environment
Participate in disaster recovery testing and drills
Document network designs, configurations, and procedures
Stay up-to-date on the latest Azure networking technologies and best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
7+ years of experience in network design, implementation, and administration
Proven experience with Microsoft Azure networking services, including VNETs, NSGs, Route Tables, and Load Balancers
Experience with on-premises network infrastructure technologies, such as Cisco and firewalls
Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution
Strong understanding of network security principles
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
Microsoft Certified Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) or equivalent certification
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
