Overview:
Setty & Associates is seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to drive our business development efforts and achieve sales goals across all markets nationwide. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to foster long-term relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with Office Directors to develop and implement effective sales strategies aimed at meeting and exceeding yearly sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
Budget and Forecast Management:
- Own and manage national sales budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
- Develop and execute growth strategies to achieve financial targets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Pursue additional projects with existing clients, leveraging established relationships to drive business growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
Sales Leadership:
- Lead pitch meetings and sales presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value propositions of our services.
- Provide motivation, guidance, and support to enhance productivity and achieve sales objectives.
Market and Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Utilize insights from market research to refine sales strategies and stay ahead of industry developments.
Industry Engagement:
- Attend and present at relevant industry conferences to promote the company and connect with prospective clients.
- Represent the company in various industry forums and events to enhance brand visibility and establish new business connections.
Performance Reporting:
- Report directly to the Managing Director and indirectly to the President and Vice President on sales performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and future plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the A/E/C or related industries.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets on a national level.
- Experience in developing new territories and market segments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to analyze complex data and market trends to drive informed decision-making.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support regional teams and client engagements.
