Anchor/Reporter – You’ll produce and anchor weekend newscasts. The rest of your week, you’ll shoot, write, edit, and present stories for our broadcast and digital platforms from the studio and live in the field.
Producer – You’ll coordinate, organize, and execute news coverage for an assigned newscast as well as our digital and social media platforms. A great opportunity to join a newsroom where you can learn and grow.
Reporter/Producer – As a Producer, you’ll coordinate, organize, and execute news coverage into our weekend newscasts. The rest of your week, you’ll pitch, shoot, write, edit, and present stories for our broadcast and digital platforms from the studio and live in the field.
Our station is the market leader in Southern Oregon and has been #1 in local news for more than 30 years. KDRV produces 36 hours of local television news per week and coverage on digital and social throughout the day.
Requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree with a focus on journalism, communications, or related field of study.
Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.
A good driving record. Must possess or be able to obtain an Oregon driver’s license.
