Big news for Uber and Lyft drivers in Massachusetts: Drivers will be granted rights — including a $32.50-an-hour minimum wage — that the state attorney general’s office says are among the best in the country. It's part of a new deal reached Thursday between the office and the ride-hailing companies. The deal resolves a years-long lawsuit against Uber and Lyft and voids the ballot measure that the Supreme Judicial Court approved Thursday asking voters to establish drivers as independent contractors.
