Responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare in Imaging Services and assist in the performance of other duties. Employee promotes service of excellence.
High School graduate or GED equivalent. Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
Current ARRT registration. Current AHA BLS certification.
Must be able to push, pull, stand, turn, stoop, reach for, lift, carry and assist other personnel in this capacity in the Radiology Department. Must be able to perform the normal duties of an R.T., i.e., CPR, visual acuity, hearing acuity, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Works in a well-lighted, ventilated radiographic room. Subject to exposure to communicable diseases and infections. Subject to exposure to ionizing radiation. Subject to cuts, punctures, and electrical shock when utilizing equipment and supplies. Must be able to work in stressful situations with a high degree of accuracy. Must be able to work irregular schedules, holidays, and weekends. Must be able to utilize discretion in handling confidential information. Must possess good communication skills, by using tact and professionalism in contact with other personnel and patients.
Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
