Principal Consultant - Microsoft (Optimisation & Negotiation)

Base to $140k plus bonus of $50k
First things first, this role is NOT a sales role. You are a consultant with a 2 level approach.
1) You know about Microsoft licensing, M365 & EA's. And you will help clients in the bill of materials. Helping them in their MS goals.
2) You will help the client in their negotiations with Microsoft helping "optimize" the client's investment.
As a Senior consultant you re there to work with the client, offer them the options available to them and guide them to their best option from a Microsoft & services software perspective.
As an overlay, you are delving into the estates of Enterprise clients and taking the data and reports to create "business discussions".
The Senior Consultant will be a go to resource across Optimisation and within the wider business Group with regards to licensing knowledge across Microsoft.
It will be integral for you to understand your Customers organization, business and objectives while building and maintaining an excellent rapport. Become that Trusted Advisor!
Key responsibilities
Accountable for delivering chargeable Services to new and existing customers, being a key member of the service delivery.
o customer-facing workshops,
o data collection and analysis
o in-depth estate analysis
o optimised BoM creation
o financial modelling
Preparation of formal delivery templates in support of the Practice Managers and lead Consultants
Build technical licensing relationship with customers
Support the Negotiations and Strategy for the client engagements where needed
Experience required
Essential
4+ years Commercial licensing experience within Microsoft or Microsoft Licensing Solution provider experience
Demonstratable experience of working within virtual teams and supporting Blue Chip companies.
In depth Microsoft licensing knowledge including cost modelling, detailed estate analysis and contractual expertise
Good commercial acumen
Excellent level of communication skills including the ability to present to both internal and external senior stakeholders.
First class written and formal presentation skills
