Job Summary
The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT) performs and monitors various medical laboratory analyses of patient specimens to provide accurate test results for confirming clinical diagnoses and treatment therapies.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to established quality control policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and validity of laboratory results
- Verify and report laboratory findings in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Follow all established regulations related to specimen processing, QC, lab safety, etc.
- Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required
- Degree in medical technology, related life science, or applied science field.
- 1 year experience and/or training in a laboratory setting
- ASCP certification preferred.
