Seeking a Biologist with Background in Microbiology

Education And Experience

  • Working towards a degree in Microbiology with completion of basic lab courses
  • Availability for 32 hours per week (4-5 days)
  • Prior experience in a microbiology laboratory or a degree in Microbiology is essential

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the microbiology laboratory team to conduct standard microbiological tests
  • Perform various tests including preservative effectiveness, microbial limits testing, time kill kinetic studies, and in vivo testing
  • Support business initiatives related to brands
  • Prepare microbiological media, operate an autoclave, and follow proper procedures for handling live microorganisms
  • Conduct basic microbiological testing, maintain cleanliness of laboratory equipment, and compile test results
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently post-training period
