The Medical Administrative Assistant is responsible for optimizing the experience of employees receiving care within the occupational health setting. This role involves effectively interfacing and collaborating with providers and staff to identify solutions for care coordination, involving all multidisciplinary team members as needed. The Medical Administrative Assistant provides superior customer service by handling a high volume of telephone calls and in-patient contact, creating processes and tools to access data from various sources, and possessing a good understanding of the unique characteristics and operations of the department/division to proficiently support the practice. Additional duties include routing patient concerns appropriately, managing clinic medical supplies within the allocated budget, managing healthcare provider’s calendar, maintaining clinic schedules, and handling confidential medical records and mail.
Responsibilities

• Train others in utilizing Excel for tracking and updating spreadsheets.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
• Ability to train others in using Excel.
• Office management experience.
• Medical office or clinical background is a bonus.
• Proficient in Excel for tracking and updating spreadsheets, although advanced skills like pivot tables are not required.
