Medical Assistant/Patient Coordinator

DermFx is looking for a passionate front office coordinator/medical assistant for our Sunset Beach location. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment that focuses on enhancing the client experience and company culture. This is an hourly position that includes weekend hours. Must possess an active Medical Assistant certification.

Job Description

• Take before and after photos
• Welcome patients into the office
• Check patients out using our point of sale system
• Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments
• Actively participate in product sales
• Check patients out and take payments
• Ensure patients have completed all necessary consent forms
• Effectively clean and sanitize treatment rooms up to health standards
• Administer medications
• Assist with all medical procedures, including prepping or drawing up any injectables and laser treatments
• Accurately complete and update medical charts and records

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Looking to gain medical or aesthetics experience
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about medical aesthetics, dermatology, and/or skincare
  
  

Education

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  
  

Experience

• Skincare/dermatology/aesthetics: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
