Job Summary: The Media Planner is responsible for developing strategic media plans that effectively reach target audiences and achieve client objectives. They analyze data, research media options, negotiate placements, and manage budgets to maximize campaign impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on target audiences, their media consumption habits, and competitive landscape.
- Develop media strategies that align with client goals and budget constraints.
- Select appropriate media channels (TV, radio, digital, print, out-of-home) based on audience insights and campaign objectives.
- Negotiate with media vendors to secure optimal placements and rates.
- Manage media budgets to ensure efficient spending and maximize ROI.
- Track campaign performance and provide regular reports to clients.
- Stay updated on the latest media trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in econ, finance, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in media planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in media planning and buying tools.
