The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for completing mechanical builds or operations to print and sales order, throughout the manufacturing process
Essential Functions
Work from operation sheets and books, blueprints, wire lists, shop travelers, rework and repair directives, computer generated and other written and verbal instructions
Ability to braze copper joints for refrigerator circuits
Generate, maintain, and follow materials pulls and assembly floor schedules. Move material and paperwork through to finish stores and maintain status records
Contribute to a positive work environment
May require lifting and use of overhead hoist assembly
Keep equipment and surroundings neat and clean
Reading and understanding simple drawings, arithmetic involving decimals and fractions and the use of measuring instruments for calculating and recording. Ability to read electrical schematics and wire a plus.
