Resonate is a conversations app that allows users to connect with others over shared interests and engage in meaningful discussions. Unlike traditional social media or dating apps, Resonate focuses on facilitating true connections through anonymous chatrooms. The first version of Resonate is specifically tailored to talking about books.

Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Marketing / Social Media Intern (Books) at Resonate. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating marketing tools for Resonate through our social media platforms (Tiktok videos, Instagram posts and reels, Twitter tweets, etc.) to build a following for Resonate. The role involves creating and curating engaging content, optimizing social media presence, and communicating with the user community.

• Social Media Marketing and Communication skills
• Video creation and editing skills
• Graphic design skills
• Experience in developing content strategies
• Excellent writing skills
• Ability to create engaging and shareable social media content
• Experience in managing social media platforms
• Understanding of hashtag utilization for optimization and visibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of book genres, authors, and trends
• Someone who enjoys reading and is well-knowledged on the fictional book community
• Knowledge of analytics tools and ability to analyze social media metrics
• At least 5-10 hours a week
