Job Description:
The Market Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding OVO Vodka’s market presence in Massachusetts. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong sales and marketing skills, as well as a deep understanding of the spirits industry. The Market Manager will work closely with distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive market strategy to achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform strategic decisions.
- Plan and implement promotional activities, including tastings, events, and sponsorships, to enhance brand awareness.
- Provide training and support to sales teams and retail partners on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and other relevant metrics.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute local advertising and social media campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the spirits industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving market growth.
- Strong understanding of the Massachusetts market and its dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within the state as required.
