Job Description
Serve as a technical leader for a team of Manufacturing, Process, & Automation Engineers
Leads root cause analysis projects and implements appropriate corrective action
Spearhead validations of new equipment & processes to adhere to quality standards
Advise management on recommendations to optimize mold and parts designs
Create/maintains documentation of internal processes
Responsible for monitoring all new and existing injection molding processes/equipment and related efficiency, uptime, and scrap metrics
Creates and implements projects to improve productivity and reduce scrap rates through process control or tool modifications
Assist to specify, purchase, setup, establish process on injection molding machines and all ancillary equipment.
Train production personnel on process improvements and SOPs
Supports the Validation of all new products into Production by running DOE's, Process Capability Studies, Gate Seal-Off, and Material Viscosity Studies

The Successful Applicant
BS in Engineering field required
Minimum 5+ years' experience in manufacturing, leadership experience required
Prior experience in injection molding is required
Experience performing validations of machinery & processes - automotive or medical device preferred
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
RJG Master Molder certification highly preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
What's on Offer
Base salary $130,000 - $150,000 depending on level of experience
Bonus incentive based on personal metrics & site performance - 10% target
