Managing Director, Executive Search


Ainsley Search Group is hiring a Managing Director with experience in business development within search and retained fields to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is responsible for the life cycle of the business development and search process based on clients’ requisition projects. Develop existing customer accounts and establish a book of new business, and increase repeat business through account management, leads, referrals, networking events, prospecting, etc.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify, qualify, and prospect new businesses, develop a comprehensive client database based on targeted verticals in Executive/C-Suite, Supply Chain, Engineering, Scientific, Quality, Operational Excellent, Procurement, Quality, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, etc.
  • Maintain, develop, and penetrate existing client accounts, develop client relationships by building a trust base partnership, leverage cross selling strategy to identify new business opportunities and generate repeating business from client accounts.
  • Identify, research sales leads and referrals, develop a sales pipeline and lead sales cycles from prospecting, marketing, client visitations, consulting, order, recruiting, offer management to closing, develop monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives and discuss progress and bottlenecks with management on a weekly basis.
  • Oversee the cradle to crave search engagement, lead internal search consultants and collaborate with clients and candidates throughout the life cycle of search process.
  • Partners with clients and search consultant to conduct thorough hiring demand analysis, develop job profile and description based on clients’ requirements.
  • Conduct market research on skill sets, salary trend, talent supply trend, etc. Stay abreast of targeted industry trends and recruiting best practices, act as industry expert with clients and candidates throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with Search Consultants to manage the flow of interview process with clients, lead and streamline the order management process from start to finish, provides guidance as needed and support the negotiation process through post offer management.
  • Provide on-going customer relation maintenance to both clients and candidates, addresses clients’ inquiries, and maintains close communication with clients.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant work experience
  • Solid tenure of B2B business development within executive search, or professional placements industries is mandatory.
  • Ability to bring and establish a book of business.
  • Prior experience working in metric and quota driven environment.
  • Strong hunter’s mentality, competitive and a must-win mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent in people and communication skills, ability to build and foster a trust-based partnership with clients and a solid background in sales.
  • Self-starter and a quick learner, independent and ability to work and meet deadlines without the requirement of micromanagement.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize projects and workflow, able to multitask and meet deadlines simultaneously, ability to stay organized and to pay close attention to details.
  • Self-discipline, ability work diligently and productively in a remote workforce.
  • Solid experience with solutions and consultative sales approach
  • A team player, works and collaborates well with internal teams.
  • Knowledge of current sourcing and recruiting trends, best practices, and methodologies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, CRM
  • Open to travel, locally and domestically.
