In this role you will be managing a team of Project Coordinators and Project Managers. As a manager you will recruit, train, and develop employees to excel within a high-performance team with a strong sense of ownership. You will have a direct impact on Trew’s project performance, driving the company’s success, profitability, and future growth. You must be self-motivated and dedicated with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to easily adapt to changing situations. You must also have strong technical and team leadership skills as well as solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills. It is important to have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of people at all levels of expertise.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Define and implement processes for the project management organization
Set and monitor KPIs for the project management team
Work cross functionally with sales, manufacturing, engineering, and installation to drive project performance
Recruit, develop, and retain strong project teams
Develop and direct strategic planning of multiple projects
Aid the project management team in pro-actively identifying, analyzing and resolving project issues to ensure milestones are met and projects are completed, with quality, on time and within budget
Lead the department in maintaining accurate project and capacity plans and up-to-date project assets and metrics.
Process change management documentation, submission and approval
Evaluation, performance tracking – and correction of employees
Project Management team strategic development
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in operations, Engineering, Management, or similar discipline
10+ years of experience in project management
Experience with subcontract language and project cost accounting
Experience with NetSuite or other ERP system
Electrical and Mechanical Installation
Familiar with computer software, hardware, communication networking
Experienced in Material Handling
Experience with PLC/Controls solution implementation
Experience with software project development, testing and implementation
PMP certification is a plus
Work Environment
This is primarily a desk-based role, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use. While the role is mainly desk-based, mobility within the office, manufacturing facility, customer – and construction sites may be required for meetings and interactions with colleagues. Office environment with face-to-face and virtual team interaction
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times. Ability to traverse office, manufacturing facility and customer sites.
