Overview

The marketing operations role supports 2 brands in the portfolio with a focus on managing the priorities within the marketing teams for commercial review committee, speaker’s bureau, print and production, congress planning and other executional processes. Work involves a blend of professional skill, operations, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal acumen. Both Marketing and Commercial Operations deliverables are frequently time sensitive, confidential, and representative of the company to outside parties and is directly related to management policies and general business operations. This position reports to the Director, Field Strategy and Operations, is a member of the Commercial Effectiveness Team and provides operational support to marketing. This position will be located in Bridgewater, NJ.

Responsibilities

Promotional Review

  • In partnership with regulatory affairs and the marketing team, coordinate processes that help prioritize weekly promotional review meetings in accordance with internal process
  • Assist agencies and brand teams in preparation for quarterly workloads, and understanding of key upcoming milestones to ensure review teams have ample time for discussion and approvals
  • Support coordination of quarterly reviews for forecasting on behalf of approval committee
  • Coordinates the downstream impacts of approvals from Veeva to approvals for utilization
  • Maintain documentation for all material submissions and asset inventory to make sure appropriate pieces get routed for approvals/reapprovals or set for expiration
  • In partnership with regulatory, develop and create metrics to continue to support process optimization

Speakers Bureau

  • In partnership with marketing, lead the management of speaker bureau vendor through contracting, program request process reporting, logistical plannings for speaker training, budget management and any additional ad hoc needs
  • Work closely with compliance to ensure all programs are executed and managed in accordance with all SOPs
  • Partner with sales on coordination of all speaker bureau related topics ensuring flawless execution
  • Proactively communicate speaker bureau updates, changes and required trainings to the individual brand teams
  • Manage all critical aspects of speaker bureau agency process across multiple brands inclusive of documentation, requirements, scheduling process, reporting, metrics and compliance
  • Management of speakers through ongoing and established communication

Production and Fulfillment

  • Lead the coordination of promotional pieces from the agency to the print vendor for timely and efficient production of resources
  • Coordinate with marketing and compliance to ensure process for material retirement and/or destruction is handled in appropriate manner
  • Manage fulfillment vendor through scoping, budgeting, and coordination between the brand and field teams
  • Manage downstream impacts of roster changes, resource updates and forced shipments
  • Develop and manage the ordering portal in conjunction with IT for seamless and compliant use by field teams
  • Monitor run rates and inventory levels to ensure critical resources are available to field

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Experience working in Marketing or Marketing Operations
  • Speaker Bureau experience a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple assignments and responsibilities, flexibility, strong communication and prioritization skills are essential
  • Experience working cross functionally with demonstrated ability to partner and create mutually beneficial solutions
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to creating solutions and positive impacts on business
  • Experience working on a commercial team required
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and project management skills Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness
  • Must possess a strong customer service and patient first mindset
  • Must successfully exhibit Insmed’s five (5) core values of Accountability, Passion, Integrity, Collaboration and respect.

Salary Range

Insmed takes into consideration a combination of candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required in the role, and external market and internal value when determining a salary level for potential new employees.

The base salary range for this job is from $111,000.00 to $156,133.00 per year
