The Manager, IT Infrastructure is responsible for oversight of all activities involving the design, development and implementation of the Infrastructure and Security information technologies for MedCost. This position will play a significant role in providing leadership to individuals responsible for supporting key functions of Service Desk, Infrastructure Maintenance and Security Operations. The Manager, IT Infrastructure will be accountable for collaboration, resource planning, scheduling, and communications necessary to develop people, processes, and critical solutions for MedCost users and clients. As a leader, will also be jointly responsible for contributing towards the achievement of the MedCost strategic vision and operational target goals. The Manager, IT Infrastructure, is expected to explore technology and security solutions which align with business strategies, allowing MedCost to operate at maximum efficiency, while preserving operating margins.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversee new and ongoing IT projects and provide guidance to Infrastructure, Service Desk and Security teams in their daily operations.
Responsible for system and process evaluation, assessing needs for standard operating procedures, improvement, and documentation of all processes.
Develop and report to leadership on team priorities, time management, team metrics, and allocation of resources including quality commitments around SLA, Security, Compliance and Capacity planning.
Manage and evaluate Infrastructure, Service Desk and Security team, and providing and monitoring development opportunities and performance management for team members including engagement and training opportunities.
Act as project manager and liaison between other departments and off-site vendors to ensure collaboration and information is clearly communicated across the organization.
Lead vendor/product licensure and business solutions which include Microsoft products, SharePoint, Disaster Recovery and System Continuity.
Hands on technical skills required to backup technical resources as needed.

Position Qualifications:
Required
Bachelors in computer science, IT Management, Business or related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT Management
Preferred
Experience in Insurance and/or HealthCare related industry
