POSITION SUMMARY: Repair, rebuild, and maintain production equipment such as lathes, EDM’s, mills, lasers, blenders, air conditioners, swamp coolers, coating/vacuum furnaces and hydraulic presses.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Install precision ball screws and bearings.
  • Rebuild pumps (hydraulic and water).
  • Replace precision thrust bearings.
  • Repair Unihone grit blast machines.
  • Maintain plant air compressors.
  • Rebuild hydraulic cylinders.
  • Troubleshoot Vacuum/Coating furnaces.
  • Use hand and power tools efficiently to complete repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot/diagnose problems using symptoms and operator feedback.
  • Ensures compliance with Company Repair Station Manual (RSM)/Quality Control Management (QCM). Must be aware of ISO/Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements.
  • Repair furnace components.
  • Repair laser components.
  • Minor electrical tasks.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Five year’s experience working in the field.
  • Previous millwright experience.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS.
  • Must pass job related test.
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot/diagnose.
