We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team and oversee the maintenance of our air-con valves. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of our valves through regular inspections, repairs, and replacements. This is a full-time position that requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular preventive maintenance on air-con valves to ensure their optimum performance and longevity.
Troubleshoot and identify any issues or malfunctions with the valves and implement solutions in a timely manner.
Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning components of valves, including motors, belts, bearings, and electrical systems.
Conduct safety checks and testing on valves to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any problems or concerns to the maintenance supervisor.
Collaborate with other team members to carry out larger maintenance projects and ensure timely completion.
Keep up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in maintenance to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification in a relevant field is preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and air-con valves.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and diagrams.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Basic understanding of workplace safety guidelines and protocols.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: $26,000 to $40,000 yearly
