Maintenance Manager

DSJ Global is partnered with a top chemical manufacturer to add an Maintenance Manager to their Tennessee Site.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a well-trained staff for supporting trades essential to equipment maintenance, including electricians, pipefitters, instrumentation, and general mechanical repair.
• Lead by example in the safe and environmentally responsible execution of manufacturing operations, incorporating safety, health, and environmental (S/H/E) considerations into projects, repairs, plans, and work products.
• Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis, participate in and implement recommendations from Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA).
• Conduct pre-start-up safety reviews for newly modified processes and modifications, championing the safety vision, S/H/E initiatives, and programs.
• Operate independently in these activities and mentor direct reports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a B.S. in an engineering field from an accredited college or university.
• At least 10-15 years of direct maintenance and engineering experience, preferably in high-hazard chemical operations.
• Over 5 years of supervisory experience.
