We are looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor. The Machine Shop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations within the Machine Shop, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products, excellent customer service, safety, and responsiveness. The role demands staying updated with the latest in technical and manufacturing advancements to boost organizational efficiency.

The role demands staying updated with the latest in technical and manufacturing advancements to boost organizational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the Machine Shop operations, upholding superior product quality, customer satisfaction, and ensuring a safe and dynamic work environment.
- Oversee the upkeep of machinery to guarantee optimal performance with minimal downtime, advocating preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Champion the update and incorporation of cutting-edge technologies and manufacturing practices to enhance operational productivity.
- Guide and develop team members, delivering constructive performance evaluations and fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and mutual respect.
- Collaborate with the Materials Planning and Manufacturing Engineering teams to refine shop scheduling, productivity, and departmental procedures and tooling.
- Drive organizational projects by contributing to multidisciplinary teams, aligning with company goals and meeting project timelines.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to OSHA and other relevant regulations, establishing a secure workplace for all team members.
- Encourage a culture of team spirit, innovation, and continuous improvement, focusing on boosting employee engagement and process efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- At least 10 years of pertinent experience in a manufacturing setting, with a strong focus on CNC machining operations.
- Expert understanding of various machining processes including turning, milling, grinding, and gear shaping.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, using them to support manufacturing processes effectively.
- Exhibits professionalism, proactivity, team-oriented mindset, and integrity in all aspects of work.
- Strong mechanical understanding and the capability to juggle numerous projects efficiently.
