M&A/Private Equity Transactions Associate Attorney

We are working with a top AmLaw 100 firm that is seeking an M&A and Private Equity senior associate for its Detroit office. The group is looking for an associate who can take on a leadership role, be a deal runner, supervise junior level associates, manage client relationships, and eventually build their own book of business. They are very busy and are looking to move quickly. The ideal candidate:

· Has 6-8 years of experience at an AmLaw 200 or top regional law firm advising clients in connection with mergers & acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures and other general corporate and contract matters

· Has strong drafting and analytical skills, great attention to detail, high level of organization, strong verbal and interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and people including across multiple office locations

· Graduated from a T-30 law school or Top 25% in class
