Lower Elementary Math Teacher -- Remote | WFH

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Part-Time Lower Elementary Remote Math Teacher to join our team and work with our students from Pre-K to 2nd grade. You will be responsible for understanding math concepts, preparing classes based on our curriculum, and delivering engaging, age-appropriate math lessons. You'll explain concepts, demonstrate problem-solving techniques, and use various teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

What You Will Do

Teach lower elementary-level mathematics virtually through our Teaching Platform.

Actively engage and manage an online classroom of up to 18 students.

Prepare and deliver lessons using our curriculum and teaching guidance.

Grade Homework And Provide Other Essential Teaching-related Services.

Communicate effectively with students and parents, offering timely and personalized feedback.

Typically work 20-40 hours per week (depending on the number of classes assigned), primarily during weekends or weekday afternoons.

How You Can Be Qualified

Bachelor's degree or above in any major; Education or STEM-related majors are preferred.

Candidates still pursuing or in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree are welcome to apply.

Prior math teaching experience is not required but is a plus.

Experience with elementary math competitions, either learning or teaching, is advantageous.

Ability to commit to at least two semesters of teaching starting from the Fall Semester (Fall: Aug - Dec; Spring: Jan - May; Summer: June - Aug).

Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends.

Passionate about teaching and the education industry, highly responsible, and enjoy working with kids.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Structure

Teaching Fee: $30/hour; Teachers will be assigned 3-7 classes per week.

Non-Teaching Fee: $15-20/hour; Includes class preparation and after-class services such as grading homework, replying to parent messages, periodically giving feedback, etc.

Training Allowance: $20/hour; Training is roughly 10 hours in length.

Student Retention Bonus: Targeted at 15% of the total teaching fee for long-term classes.
