Role Description

This is a full-time remote position that will require you to come out to Indio, CA for training in the first few months of employment. As a Lighting Estimator, you will be responsible for managing the estimation process for lighting projects, evaluating costs and materials, and preparing accurate and competitive bids. You will collaborate with the sales and project management teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in lighting estimating and preparing bids
• 5 years of experience in distribution or working with regional lighting reps
• Any lighting manufacturer experience is a bonus
• Any lighting controls knowledge is a bonus
• Strong knowledge of lighting products and materials
• Ability to interpret project plans and specifications
• Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Proficiency in Blue Beam or Plan Swift
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience in the lighting industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
