Lighting Designer

Map Design Studio is seeking a Lighting Designer with 3+ years of experience, to join our growing studio.

We are a young and fast growing architectural lighting design office with work located around the US and internationally. Projects range from high end hospitality and residential to institutional and large scale commercial developments.

If you are interested in working within a team to coordinate and deliver lighting design packages from Concept Design through Construction Administration for a broad range of project types and sizes, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Lighting Layouts
• Lighting Calculations
• Design Presentations
• Fixture Schedules & Specifications
• Control Specifications
• Site Visits to focus and set scenes
• Punchlists

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Architectural or Theatrical Lighting Design
• 3+ years of experience in the field of architectural lighting
• AutoCAD
• Adobe Creative Cloud
• AGI32 or similar light calculation software
• Experience with Revit is a plus
