Lead Sr. Accountant ($80,000 - $95,000 salary plus bonus)

Korn Ferry has partnered with our client in their search for a Lead Sr. Accountant. The responsibilities will cover the entire accounting cycle, including maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, executing GL journal entries, leading the month-end close processes, AP/AR transactions, and cash/treasury management.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare journal entries, analyses, account reconciliations and assist with monthly close processes.
• Review general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries and adjusting journal entries.
• Perform cost analysis and review expenses to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Meet processing and reporting deadlines.
• Assist with investigating variances to budget and prior year.
• Assist with Ad-hoc reporting and special projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of Accounting-related experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of Accounting and GAAP.
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
