Responsibilities:

• Leverage our core values to create a positive experience for our internal and external clients
• Ability to install HVAC related equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and to Akian Plumbing, Heating, & AC’s standards
• Mentor and support Install Apprentices under his/her care into Install Technicians
• Run low voltage wiring to related HVAC equipment
• Install lineset and line hide with quality and the using the appropriate techniques and materials in each application
• Install sheet metal, flex and hard duct in residential applications
• Install and connect gas lines to code compliance
• Record all material consumed or used on the job for proper job costing and replenishment
• Ensure the completion of all required documentation including but not limited to: install checklist, photos, daily notes on progress of installation, etc
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with the assistance of
• manufacturer/supplier technical support or the Install Supervisor
  
  

Qualifications:

• EPA Certified or willingness to pursue
• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in installation of diverse HVAC equipment (Mitsubishi, American Standard, First Co, Goodman, Etc)
• Be organized with a high level of attention to detail
• Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, work in extreme temperatures (hot or cold), tight confined spaces, and sit/stand for long periods of time
• Physically agile, dexterous, and able to work in confined spaces
