Laundry Attendant

The Hilton Atlanta Northeast is on the hunt for a reliable and hard working full time Laundry Attendant. To be considered you must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. The hours are 8:00am - 4:30am during the week and 9:00am - 5:30pm on the weekends and based on business levels. This is a great opportunity to join an amazing team with awesome benefits. Overview

The Laundry Attendant operates or tends to washers to wash articles, such as towels, linens, blankets, napkins, etc. for the hotel.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Sorts linen (terry, sheets, pillowcases). Weigh linen and load in washers.
• Load dryers.
• Know the operating function of the machines.
• Be able to maintain productivity standards on a daily basis.
• Fold linen and sheets according to proper standards.
• Place folded linen on marked shelves.
  
  

Education And Experience

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required. Previous laundry experience preferred.
• Certificates & Licenses: First aid certification is preferred.
