Trusted Staffe is excited to announce an exceptional career opportunity for a Lab Manager in Microbiology. Our partner, a prestigious Level I Trauma Center located in the heart of Boston, MA, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the Microbiology Laboratory, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
Supervise, train, and mentor laboratory staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Manage laboratory resources, including equipment, supplies, and budgets, to maintain optimal workflow and productivity.
Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to support patient care and provide expert consultation on microbiological matters.
Develop and maintain laboratory policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and in alignment with best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science, or an Applied Science.
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Microbiology Lab.
Preferred: Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) in Microbiology.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
